    Wyoming is considered a red state. In the federal government, Wyoming is represented by two U.S. Senators and one U.S. Representative. Both Senators, John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis, are Republican along with the House Representative. Wyoming has a Republican governor, Mark Gordon, who was reelected in 2022. The state legislature is also controlled by the Republicans, who have majorities in both chambers.
