Held at the Lusail International Circuit in Lusail, the Qatar GP is one of the more recent additions to the F1 calendar. The first Grand Prix took place during the heated title-fight between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in 2021.
After a year break in 2022 due to the FIFA World Cup taking place in the country, Qatar returned to the calendar in 2023 under a 10-year contract that will see Lusail host a Grand Prix until 2032.
