About our Tyson Fury news

Latest news and updates on Tyson Fury, an English two-time world heavyweight boxing champion, who held the WBC title from 2020 until May 2024 when Oleksandr Usyk beat him to become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Tyson Fury, also known as the Gypsy King, first became world champion in 2015 when he beat the reigning champ Vladimir Klitschko by unanimous decision. Fury's heavyweight reign was short-lived after he was stripped of his IBF belt just ten days after the Klitschko fight, and a year later he vacated the remaining WBA, WBO and IBO titles.

In 2018 after two years of inactivity and battling various mental health issues, Tyson Fury made his return to boxing when he challenged American Deontay Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title. The two went on to have a trilogy of fights with Fury ultimately coming out on top and regaining the WBC belt in 2020.

Fury ended up defending the WBC belt for four years until he lost the title to Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk when he became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
