Latest news on SAG-AFTRA, an American labor union that represents about 160,000 media professionals, such as actors, journalists, singers, voice actors, and others. It was formed in 2012 by the merger of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), which were both established in the 1930s.
SAG-AFTRA is affiliated with the AFL-CIO, the largest federation of unions in the US, and the International Federation of Actors (FIA), a global network of performers' unions. It is headquartered in Los Angeles and New York, and has local offices across the country.
