The tournament has seen impressive attendance figures, with the highest attendance of 34,184 recorded at the Leinster versus Clermont match, demonstrating the competition's enduring appeal to rugby fans.

    Originally established as the Heineken Cup in 1995, the tournament was rebranded as the European Rugby Champions Cup in 2014. Throughout its history, the competition has served as a showcase for some of rugby's greatest talents and most memorable matches. The tournament's expansion to include South African teams has added an exciting new dimension to the competition, bringing together different playing styles and rugby cultures.
