She is known for her roles in Hong Kong action films of the 1990s, such as "Yes, Madam," "Police Story 3: Supercop," and "Holy Weapon." She also gained international recognition for her roles in the James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies" and in Ang Lee's martial arts film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
