She started her career as a co-presenter for the ITV children's show "SMTV Live" from 1998 to 2002, a role that earned her a BAFTA Children's Award. Additionally, she was a part of the spin-off chart show "CD:UK" from 1998 to 2005.

    Deeley is also recognized for her work in the United States, particularly as the host of the dance competition show "So You Think You Can Dance," starting in 2005. Her role on this show has brought her significant acclaim, including five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program and two Critics Choice Awards for Best Reality Show Host in 2012 and 2015.
